Davis French and Associates are a team of consultants specialising in insurance related damage assessment and business recovery. We work with insurance claims managers and alongside loss adjusters to investigate the nature and severity of damage caused to businesses after fires, floods, explosions etc.; we work closely with those businesses to minimize the effects of such disasters by giving them guidance on how to deal with the physical aspects of the damage and how to minimize any interruption to their normal business activity. Our services range from contamination profiling to full project management but whether we are validating damage to a piece of IT equipment or project managing a business back to full production you can be assured of our fully independent, technically supported opinions, advice and solutions.

Chris joined Davis French and Associates in October 2011 after working at BELFOR for nearly 10 years as manager for training, health & safety and quality. Prior to working at BELFOR Chris owned and operated a regional cleaning and restoration business in the East Midlands which was acquired by BELFOR in 2001.
Chris was instrumental in the events which eventually led to the formation of the British Damage Management Association (BDMA) in 1999 and held the position as Secretary of the organisation until 2001. Chris is qualified as a BDMA Senior Technician and has over 30 years experience in the cleaning and restoration industry.
In 2003 Chris achieved full membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and in January 2007 became a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner (CMIOSH). This was followed in 2009 by successfully completing the Association for Project Safety’s course in The Management of CDM Co-ordination, which is one of the areas that Chris specialises in.
